Eliezer Batista – O Engenheiro do Brasil is a documentary about the life of Eliezer Batista, former president of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce, twice Minister of State and one of the most influential characters in modern Brazil. The film reflects the thoughts and feelings of a visionary man and his achievements in Brazil and the world.

Librado, an unemployed man, lives in a crowded small house with numerous children and relatives, is beaten for stealing a car antenna. His godmother and her children try to settle in his place. She then is arrested at a supermarket for stealing, however, she offers herself and volunteers a friend of hers for sex to the policemen so she can be released. She is a maid of an employee who acts subservient to his boss, a mid-level government employee at once servile who delivers speeches on sexuality in educational texts and then discusses the matter with his brother, a corrupt inspector.

A filmic encounter with Brazil, which Aurand visited for the first time in September 2022 for screenings of her films and Margaret Tait’s in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Aurand’s 16mm films are portraits of people and place, often prompted by the discovery and experience of travel. This is the world we're introduced to on Lowrider Brazil, as we're taken to Vida Real and see what it's like at Brazil's pioneering lowrider car club. The mastermind in charge of getting the club in full gear is Tatá, joined by his sidekicks Japonês and Alemão. Tatá is known for his no-nonsense approach towards newcomers. Japonês is a hot-headed auto mechanic. As for Alemão, he's a true chicano, and specializes in lowrider bike projects. The everyday challenges faced by these heroes and their ties with other lowrider aficionados are given special attention in a setting marked by a strict moral code, where everyone's devoted to a common passion: building lowrider cars and bikes.

Kittu / Krishna is a cab driver who saves his money with the cab owner. When the owner refuses to return his money back, Kittu kidnaps owner’s daughter Nandu.
